Consists of selected papers from the Lenoir Museum collection at Norris Dam State Park, Norris, Tennessee. Includes correspondence, receipts, accounts, and various other documents. Correspondents include James W. Bicknell, Richard and Susanna White, Eli S. Adkins, Henry Adkins, A.S. Lenoir, William B. Lenoir, J. Dunlap, N. Harris, Thomas White, L. Clark Adkins, and Samuel P. Pughs. Other documents of interest include a bill for colonizing free negroes, undated; a Confederate bond belonging to W.G. Davy, 1864; advertisements for Bolivar Academy (Madisonville, Tenn.) and Bogart High School (location unknown); a Civil War pass for W.F. Lenoir, 1861; and a letter concerning the California gold rush, 1849.
